Empowering Community through Sustainable Agriculture

Welcome to our mission for a thriving, self-sustained community! We have been entrusted with a generous piece of land that serves as the foundation for an agricultural initiative to support and uplift the entire village. Through this program, we employ local villagers, creating meaningful work opportunities that not only provide income but also foster a stronger, more connected community.

Our farm produces an abundance of crops aimed at meeting the immediate needs of those in the village, directly addressing hunger and promoting food security. Beyond this, through agriculture we empower individuals by equipping them with skills in sustainable farming, providing access to resources, and creating a path to self-sufficiency.

A portion of our harvest is carefully selected for export, generating foreign exchange that enables further community development. These funds are reinvested in local infrastructure, education, healthcare, and other vital services, ensuring that the benefits of our agricultural program extend to every member of the community.

Together, we are growing a future rooted in hope, strength, and sustainability—creating a model of change that impacts lives today and for generations to come. Join us in our journey toward a brighter, self-sustaining future for this village and beyond!

The farm is located in Bandajuma community, Eastern Sierra Leone; about 50 acres being used for growing stable and cash crops. WAAIC believes that farming and growing food and produce is an essential part of improving health and preventing sickness and diseases.
