WAAIC.

WAAIC is a non-profit that aims to improve lives in underserved communities and countries. We do so by collecting & shipping medical devices, farm equipment, school supplies, etc. from the US to countries in need.

Every little bit helps and we are grateful!

We are presently focused on Sierra Leone and we are doing our little bit there !

We have done much on our own already but together, we could do so much more. With increased donations and supplies, we are encouraged to continue to effect a change in the lives of the underprivileged.

Program One: Education

Our donation of educational supplies program is dedicated to providing children with the tools they need to succeed in school. From textbooks and notebooks to pencils, uniforms, and backpacks, these essential supplies remove barriers to learning and help create a more equitable education environment. By equipping students with the resources they need, we empower them to stay in school, dream bigger, and reach their full potential. Your donations directly contribute to shaping brighter futures for young minds in underserved communities.

Program Two: Agriculture

Our agriculture program focuses on equipping local farmers with the tools, training, and resources they need to cultivate more productive and sustainable crops. By introducing modern farming techniques and providing access to quality seeds and equipment, we help improve food security, boost local economies, and reduce hunger in the community. With your support, we can continue to nurture growth and foster self-reliance, ensuring that families not only have enough to eat but can also build a stronger, more resilient future.

Program Three: Health Care

Our medical supply donation program aims to address the critical shortage of healthcare resources in underserved communities. By providing essential medical supplies such as medicines, bandages, diagnostic tools, and protective equipment, we support local clinics and hospitals in delivering lifesaving care. These supplies are crucial in treating illnesses, preventing infections, and improving overall health outcomes. With your generous donations, we can continue to strengthen healthcare systems and ensure that those in need receive the care they deserve.

Meet Josh, the founder

Josh Anyaosah was drawn into charity out of his passion to see change in the lives of the underserved (as he prefers to address them). Having made multiple visits to Sierra Leone, he understands the plight of the people and their communities. It all started with the creation of road access for residents of Gboyama village in 2021, then colleagues at work who were excited about his trips volunteered to donate items which he would either ship or take along in his future trips.
